A sneak preview of my article for Sussex Wedding Magazine, ' Spring Weddings'
With spring come new beginnings, what could be a better time to get married! So many gorgeous flowers come into season during spring, classic tulips, scented hyacinths, dainty rannuclas and many more. The colour choice is immense with the lovely strong reds, purples, pinks and blues of the delicate anemone flowers for example. Golden daffodils are so glorious and can feature on their own in a bouquet or are stunning in simple glass vases and perfect if the budget is tight. Everyone’s favourite sweet peas come into play in such pretty colours and have such a scrumptious fragrance. For soft shades, paper whites are delightful and have such a delicate aroma or, if the budget permits, beautiful white Lily of the Valley. As an alternative to cut flower arrangements, consider lovely flowering bulbs such narcissi, crocus and daffodils planted in baskets or vintage containers. Spring, with its blue skies and re-awakening of nature after winter, offers such an array of beautiful flowers that it would be just the perfect time of year for a wedding !
