So being the third Saturday in January it is officially tuip season ! Which is great news as that means there are now over a 100 days of tulips. With 1.9 billon flowers finding their way to tulip lovers all around the world they have to be one of the most popular flowers of all. Bring the springtime indoors :

Back in 1634 to 1637 the recently introduced tulips reached a heady height in prices equivelent to an Amsterdam canal-side house.

In Spain, the red Tulip is becoming increasingly popular for Valentine's day and their day of celebrating.

Always remember that Tulips continue to grow when in a vase so always choose a vase that is the tall enough.
