Coming Out Of Lockdown...

Dear Flower Lover,

I am writing to update you on our plans to keep you and our teams safe as we start to reopen our Shoreham and Brighton stores.

I am pleased to confirm that Walter Smith Flowers Shoreham (a Ginger Lily Florist) will be reopening tomorrow in line with the latest government guidelines and social distancing measures. Ginger Lily Florists Brighton will continue trading as an online and phone order retailer, and by appointment only floral consultation in the shop. Thank you for being so flexible and for sticking with us and shopping in different ways.

Safety is our absolute priority and my team and I have been working hard to get everything ready and to make sure you can shop with us safely. We hope to reintroduce shopping in stores in the coming weeks, but until then you will need to order your flowers before you arrive at the shop. There might be a queue as we are not allowing any customers in store. My team will be on hand to make sure we have social distancing while queuing. My team and I will be following social distancing guidelines at all times, including when we bring the flowers out for collection. This might mean it takes us a little longer than usual to serve you – please bear with us, we are doing everything they can to help you in these exceptional circumstances. 

I appreciate some of these changes may be inconvenient for you and you might be disappointed if your local shop is not ready to reopen on Monday 15^th June. I am sorry for this but please know that we are doing everything we can to get the right measures in place to ensure everyone stays safe and can shop with us in the ways they want to. I know life is going to be different for all of us for some time but we are committed to adapting and changing our business to make sure we are serving you as best we can.
